राहुल गांधी कहाँ थे?

कुछ वर्ष पहले एक मित्र किसी काम से रंगून गया। उसने शहर के बीच गेस्ट हाउस में एक कमरा लिया। जब काम के विषय में वहां बसे भारतीय लोगों से बातचीत शुरू की तो वे पूछते, "भई कहाँ रुके हो?" 

"गार्डन गेस्ट हाउस" 

"ओह! वही जहाँ राहुल रुकता है।"

जब यह कई बार सुनने में आया तो उसने एक माननीय व्यापारी से पूछा कि मामला क्या है। गार्डन गेस्ट हाउस एक बहुत ही काम बजट वाली जगह है जहाँ रहने को कमरा और सुबह का नाश्ता मिलता है। आखिर राहुल गांधी किसी अच्छे होटल की बजाय वहां क्यों ठहरेंगे?

मयन्मार ऐसा देश है जो कुछ देर पहले तक सैनिक सरकार के नियंत्रण में था। वहां प्राधिकारी इतने कड़े हैं कि कोई अतिथि किसी के घर बिना अनुमति नहीं ठहर सकता। हर गली में कितने लोग रहते हैं यह उन्हें हर समय ज्ञात होता है और किसी भी समय घर में इसकी जांच हो सकती है। वहां समाज बाकी की दुनिया से कटा सा हुआ है। बाहर की कोई पुस्तकें लाना वर्जित है। बैंकिंग क्षेत्र काफी पहले धराशायी हो चूका है और कोई एटीएम नहीं हैं। जितना भी धन चाहिए, आगंतुकों को नकद लाना पड़ता है। यदि राहुल वास्तव में मयन्मार आते रहे तो दिलचस्प बात थी क्योंकि भारत में इन दौरों की कोई खबर नहीं थी। 

उन व्यापारी ने बताया कि राहुल अपने सुरक्षा संगठन और किसी प्रचार के बिना आते हैं। जब एक बार वहां प्राधिकारियों को पता चला की वे आये हुए हैं, तो उन्होंने भारतीय दूतावास में खबर की और पूछा कि क्या आये हुए भारतीय सांसद के लिए सुरक्षा की व्यवस्था की जाय। जवाब आया कि आप अपने काम से काम रखें और उन्हें अपने हाल पर छोड़ दें। सारा इलाका यह जानता है कि जब भी राहुल गांधी आते हैं, तो उनके साथ हर बार एक नयी पोलिनीशियन महिला होती हैं। 

यदि राहुल रंगून छुट्टी मनाने आते ही हैं, तो वे ट्रेडर्स होटल में रुक सकते हैं, जो गार्डन गेस्ट हाउस के साथ ही है। पर वहां भारत से आये हुए व्यापारियों की नज़र में आ जायेंगे। मयन्मार गुप्त दौरों पर जाने के लिए अच्छा विकल्प इसलिए भी है क्योंकि वहां कोई खबर फ़ैल नहीं सकती - मीडिआ ही नहीं है। केवल एक अखबार है जो सरकार द्वारा चालित है। 

राहुल गांधी को सार्वजनिक हस्ती बनने पर मजबूर तो बना दिया गया है पर उनकी निजी गतिविधियाँ काफी संदेह पैदा करती हैं। वे साल में ७० बार विदेश जाते हैं, जो अपने आप में संदेहजनक नहीं है पर दुबई से आगे अलग पासपोर्ट से जाते हैं, यह बात तो है। उनके नशे के सेवन की आदत को भी छुपाकर रखा गया है। खबर यह फैली कि वे मनमोहन सिंह के फेयरवेल डिनर पर नहीं आये क्योंकि देश में नहीं थे, जबकि देश तो क्या वे तो होश में भी नहीं थे - नशे में थे। 

कुछ वर्ष पहले तक ऐसा लगता था कि राहुल गांधी निश्चित रूप से एक दिन भारत के प्रधानमन्त्री होंगे। पर फिर उन्होंने बात करना शुरू कर दिया। ऐसे नाम के साथ, वंश के होते हुए और कांग्रेस पार्टी के उत्कृष्ट वक्ता रोज़ उनकी प्रशंसा में जुटे होते हुए भी राहुल गांधी ने बनी बनायी बाज़ी का बेड़ा गर्क कर दिया। और इसके लिए भारत उनका आभारी है।

Why was Rahul missing?

A few years ago, a friend went to Yangon (Rangoon), Mayanmar (Burma) for some work. He took a room at a Guest House in the downtown area. When he began interacting with the Indian community there for his business, they would ask him where he was staying. “Garden Guest House”, he would say. “Oh! The same place where Rahul stays everytime.” When he got this response more than once, he was puzzled and decided to ask a respectable businessman what the whole story was. Garden Guest House is a modest budget bed and breakfast place. Why would Rahul Gandhi stay there instead of a proper hotel?

Mayanmar is a country that was run by military junta until recently. The authorities were so strict that a guest could not stay overnight in anybody’s house without permission. They would keep a close track of how many people stay on each street and there would be random checking for verification. The society there is almost entirely isolated from the rest of the world. No outside books are allowed. The banking sector had collapsed long back and there are no ATMs; whatever money they need, visitors have to carry in cash. If Rahul had been coming to Mayanmar, it certainly made for a curious case because there was no news of these trips back in India.

The businessman said that Rahul is a frequent visitor to the city but that he comes without his security cover or an announcement in the media. When the local authorities found out that he had come once, they contacted the Indian Embassy if they should provide security to the Indian Member of Parliament. They were told to mind their own business and let him be on his own. The entire locality knows that whenever Rahul arrives, he is accompanied by a different Polynesian female companion.

If Rahul does come to Yangon on a vacation, he can well stay in the up-market Traders Hotel which is right next to Garden Guest House. But then he might be spotted by Indian businessmen who often stay there. Mayanmar is a good choice as a secret getaway also because news doesn’t travel there - there is no media. The only newspaper is run by the government.

Rahul Gandhi has been forced to become a public figure but there is a lot about his private activities that invites suspicion. He travels abroad 70 times a year which is not necessarily suspicious but that he travels on a different passport Dubai onwards certainly is. His regular drug abuse is also a well kept secret. The news being circulated is that he was missing from PM Manmohan Singh’s farewell because he was out of the country, while the truth is that he was out of his senses, high on cocaine.

It appeared inevitable till a few years ago that he would be India’s PM one day. But that was before he began opening his mouth to speak. With the right surname, a pedigree like his, and the best spokespersons of the Congress Party eulogizing him publicly, how badly would Rahul have to play his part to mess it up. And India is thankful to him for being himself.

‪What Media should ask Rahul Gandhi

The country does not know Rahul's administrative capabilities. Why did he not take any ministerial responsibility in the 10 years of the UPA Government when the PM was willing to give him any Ministry he wished for?

By opting to head a Ministry, Rahul could have shown his mettle, his work, proven his capability and shown what he stands for.

In the absence of proven experience Indians are unaware of his capabilities. Therefore what right does he have, specially after shirking serious responsibility for 10 years, to lecture on the performance of Gujarat?

While the Gandhi's spread falsehood on Gujarat they have no explanation for the huge wealth build-up of their son-in-law Robert Vadra nor on the lacklustre and terrible performance of the UPA on all fronts of governance.

The point is very simple, why are other political parties not questioning his credentials on governance? He has wasted 10 years under the shadow of his mother shirking responsibility even while callously insulting the seat of the PM.

He did not even perform his constitutional responsibility of attending the Parliament or attending to development work in Amethi (His constituency).

He has raised 0 questions in the Parliament (national average is 300), participated in 2 debates (national average is 37.9) and his attendance is barely 43% (national average is 76%) during his tenure in Parliament.

By having accepted any important ministerial berth, as offered to him on a platter by Manmohan Singh, Rahul could have gained useful experience in governance and boosted his own credentials.

Now his mother tells the citizens, we have given to you RTI, RTE, FS, MNREGA. She adds, that they will give all citizens Right to Health, Right to Home and in exchange she demands they vote for herself and her son. She almost guarantees that people will not have to work any more and that the money required to run the country will come from somewhere inexplicable, probably already bankrupt Italy!

The whole family is so desperate to win the 2014 elections that they can give you anything in exchange for votes and a return to power!

To achieve their goal, Sonia, Daughter and Son are indulging in all sorts of lies, inaccuracies and filthy language. Daughter Priyanka occasionally appears on the scene during elections and then disappears until the next elections, all the while helping her husband make money.

This dynasty has perpetuated enough horrors on a nation that reposed its trust in them and gave them love.

Its time we got rid of this brat pack and show them their place - in prisons or political exile.
